Very, very similar to its predecessor, with less novelty and less focused characters. I really like the setting though, with so much time spent on the lake. It gives the film a distinct atmosphere.

Orson Welles is mesmerizing, both as director and actor here. Much has been said about the connection between the character of Falstaff and Welles himself, and yeah, it's a perfect match. The lovable entertainer, full of life and wit, proud and steadfast in who he is, left abandoned and rejected by the elite and powerful he spent his time with. Fun as per usual, but man did the FinalGoji and GMK Ghidorah suits show their age. Especially next to the new Jet Jaguar suit. If they ever do one of these again (which idk if they will), give it more of a budget and make all new suits. Also wonder if they actually maimed the Ghidorah suit for this lol.
