  Nicole Kidman delivers an excellent performance. This movie seems to play with different power dynamics in interesting ways, but doesn’t really have much to say about power, desire, and the self when it was teed up to do so. Fun soundtrack.

  Two characters that I find deeply mortifying but ultimately relatable.

  I also envy those who can feel things deeply and openly, as we are so often pressured to keep things locked up to uphold the status quo.  

  Both Kieran and Jesse give raw, emotional performances that really drive the movie forward.  

  While the center revolves around the study of these two characters, it was surprisingly well shot!
