La Chimera 2023
Boring as hell, the characters are all unbearably annoying (starting from the protagonist, who has the verve of a rock), and it’s very frustrating to see the never ending perpetration of Italian common places: the crafty men with their loudness and impoliteness, the country’s richness in art but the inability of the people to take care of it, the gestures… A part from a couple of nice moments (atmospheres), the movie is just a tedious and “pornographic” jumble of Italian…

The Room Next Door 2024
In the beginning the script and the acting felt weird, but then I understood it was a style choice and ok. I liked the the Hopperian atmosphere and the non-canonical relationships displayed. However, it doesn’t really seem a terribly memorable movie. Overall, I still enjoyed it!
