The ultimate frat bro script in the worst and - much less often - best ways. All the characters are the worst-person-I-know’s version of what a badass is. Not sure if I think it’s embarrassing or somehow endearing.

Dune: Part Two 2024
I think it’s very smart that this movie is a movie first and true to the text second. Dune part 2 has carefully chosen story devices that allow the viewer to see rather than read. Fine by me. If I wanted to experience the same story again I’d just read it.
If you like going to the movies to be blown back into your seat, this is a must. Villeneuve is the one master I trust with CGI.

When I was nine, I had a friend that loved the xenomorph but I was too terrified to watch the movies. However, I would sneak peeks at his Alien comics and I distinctly remember panels someone grabbing the chest burster as it came out of them and jumping into something molten to ensure they both died.
