What a godawful film. I am baffled that this film has not had more backlash about the completely tone deaf treatment of transgender people and the Desaparecidos in Mexico. The fact it has won a single award let alone multiple is insane. This film feels like an inside joke that the audience isn’t a part of. Also was it actually written by AI? I read that somewhere and I feel like AI would have done a better job …
