I think the scene where they all scold the camera to make some new people then it cuts to a bunch of corporate imagery really encapsulates the theme of this one. Feels like the social pressure to build a family inverted like yeah we are bored so go make us some new people to meet cuz thats what u do right ?? the malleable nature of social roles is something i find fascinating as a queer person and i think possibly thats what resonates with me about this and many of ryan trecartins films.
