As a Russian I thought all the Russian dialogue was super funny and authentic.
The overall movie though was very disappointing imo.. I get what the ending is saying but Ani doesn't get enough characterization to make it impactful imo. Rly good beginning but the middle sorta meanders for a while when it could've used the time to explore anora's character more.
Kinda unnecessary unfortunately. Other than the cast being a little more diverse changing some lines it's basically a line for line remake of the original. I think diversifying the cast is actually rly interesting conceptually but It felt like they didn't rly do much with it?
Also no soundtrack, shot composition isn't as tight as the original, and main guy just can't compare to Henry Fonda.
But other than all that it's still the same engaging 12 angry men story the original is just better in every way lol

Rly liked about 2/3rds of it. The ending really lost me but everything else taps into some really specific anxieties I have
I'm really sick of people obsessing over solving movies and trying to find some sort of hidden plot instead of focusing on how it makes you feel. Like no Beau is not a paranoid schizophrenic it's literally just anxiety being shown in an exaggerated way
