  The two stars are only for Emma Stone’s performance and the beautiful costumes. 
  The rest is a disturbing (spoiler alert : disturbing doesn’t mean deep) fantasy that pretends to be a female empowerment story. But what’s empowering about the infinite abuses the main character suffers ? We’d know if trauma was a key to freedom.
