    This is bad in so many ways, but my favorite is that the film begins with a voiceover explaining how the gods walk among men and are tall, and then the first scene is the gods being… tall. That’s it. They’re just Gandalf sized.

    It’s fine. Basically a lavish Disney live-action remake of the 1922 version, with some flourishes and cool shots but no significant improvements imo. They should have gone easier on the Nosferatu prosthetics—he looks more like Candyland’s Lord Licorice than the embodiment of evil. (-E)
