Kinda confused. I felt like the film should have started long before she met Ivan so that we could explore Anora as a person and understand what her motivations and desires actually are. Anora’s character was so threadbare, especially compared to all the male characters around her whose motivations and desires were very clear.

Actually traumatised me. I didn't find it scary but some of the scenes were very disturbing and I think I sympathised too much with the characters. I thought they went too far with it. Some of those images and sounds have not left me since. Sickening. That's the reason for my low rating. Beware, people with weak stomachs or big hearts.

I really loved this film. Movies like this push people to think about their actions and this one really affected me. I'm not saying I loved watching people abuse Jennifer Lawrence - it's the metaphorical nature of this film that put me in awe.
