The Night of the Hunter 1955
Love how Robert Mitchum is mostly terrifying in this movie but sometimes comes off like Wile E. Coyote. When he gets a door shut on his hand, that’s primo Looney Tunes material right there.
Also, he apparently can’t swim in this movie, because, if he could, he would definitely be able to catch the slowest boat manned by children in existence.
