While the dialogue sometimes hurts your soul with how on-the-nose it is, there is a good chunk of stuff the film gets right that makes me wish it was released this year. Edgar Wright’s editing style and camerawork are both consistently creative and fit the action—and oddly the romance genre—very snugly.
