I don’t know why I watched this, it’s not great but there’s an occasional laugh and some good set pieces as well as a brilliantly executed bit of drama near the end, that sort of hits harder because it’s such a massive shift, both tonally and quality wise.
I had a good time watching it overall and although it’s a mess, I’d still recommend as like passive entertainment or something.

Great film, for some reason, don’t ask me why, but I try and watch this every paddy’s day (there’s only 1 or 2 actual Irish characters in this film and they’re either mocked or have like 1 line but fuck it, some traditions aren’t supposed to make sense).
