Yuck

I really don't know what possessed me to watch this. But it was...fun. The cast is loaded with so many of my favorites and I just skipped forward through the age gap inappropriate item songs. A silly time pass that was better than I expected it to be.

Perhaps I wasn't in the right mood, but this movie felt like a punishment to watch to the end.

I loved this movie! If you want silly dances, at least five scenes of VJS beating up goons (one while wearing aviators), secret identities, a corporate baddie who is also the father of the heroine, a corrupt MLA, heavy handed social and environmental messaging, double crossing, tragedy, comedy, a fast talking hero who outsmarts everyone, saves the town singlehandedly and gets the girl? This movie has got them ALL. Plus Nassar! It's not great cinema, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. If mass movies are to your taste, this is a feast.
