“A heart's a heavy burden.”
It’s kind of hard for me to pin down what is my favorite movie but I often find myself answering with this one. The visuals are stunning, as is par for the course with Studio Ghibli but the secret garden stuck out to me as a place I mentally go when I feel too stressed out or anxious or just need a moment to breathe. There’s such magic in every scene of this movie for me, not just the obvious kind but something about the flow makes me feel like I’m also walking mid-air for the first time.
