Nosferatu 2024
Whoever did the score must’ve hated Robert Eggers. A little messy, unfocused, and overstuffed at times but still lovable. What made the original Nosferatu so captivating was its focus on certain aspects of the lore and the purposeful omission of others. Here Eggers not only goes for a holistic approach re: Bram Stoker’s Dracula but also towards his own themes too, which end up being some of the best-done.
