One of the most boring films ever made, but its biggest transgression is the normalisation of very poor dog husbandry. A film that romanticises a stressed out, reactive dog’s behaviour because its owners refuse to put in the work to give this dog structure, exercise and stability. I’ve never seen adult humans be so thoroughly clueless about how to care for an animal in my life, it’s painful to watch.
