With all the impressions my friends were doing, I expected the hilarious bits. But I had no idea how much this would punch me right in the emotions. Goddamn, this is one of my favorite portrait documentaries I've ever seen. I could watch hours and piecing together their truths/half truths.
It feels like a John Waters movie in real life.

Look, I'm a queer lady, and I'm blown away by all the assertions on here that this movie is misogynistic and/or anti-queer and/or at the very least heteronormative. Y'all saying that the good guys are the straight couple and the bad guys are queerishness or polyamory are thinking too hard, and have some queer blinders on.
