Cries and Whispers 1972
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Bergman never fails to make his audience emotional.
It is brilliant to me how this film utilizes such a vigorous and human colour such as red to represent the slow process of loss. I genuinely empathized with this family. Seeing the way each woman reacts to Agnes' gradually aggravated condition. The way nothing changes but everything still feels different upon her passing. This is possibly the most heartfelt movie I've watched about mourning.
I can't possibly put it into words…

Silence 2016
"The blood of martyrs is the seed of the church."
Indescribable film experience.
Martin Scorsese's Silence meticulously follows the jorney of two catholic priests into XVII century Japan.
I'd argue there's very few ways i could possibly relate to this picture's except for the fact the main characters do share my nationality (I do deeply appreciate the portuguese representation). I'm an agnostic, and this film is all about faith, therefore I'm in no way the right person to comment on it.…
