Finished watching this and then switched over to the Oscar’s just in time to see Culkin win which was pretty cool.
Beautiful film but I couldn’t shake the feeling that Culkin’s character was inspired by Zach Galifianikis’s character from The Hangover

This and the previous film have been the most consistently enjoyable films of the franchise. Took the series a while to really find its stride, but I’m glad that I stuck with it.
