  Cure 1997

  This film is nothing short of a masterpiece. The plot, the cinematography, the acting, the sound design, everything. The grip the film takes on you is almost hypnotic, and it doesn’t let go until the final scene, where the viewer is left to make their own interpretations on things. I’m not a huge fan of ambiguous endings in films, but I think it’s done perfectly here.

  Not everyone will love this film as much as I do, but I would still recommend it, as I’ve never experienced anything like it while watching a film, and I can’t say I ever will again.

  Definitely not Bong Joon-Ho at his peak, but who cares, it’s still really good. I was really impressed by Pattinson’s range as the two Mickeys; must’ve been hard to get in the head of two completely different characters and still give a great performance.

  Also Joe Pesci might be the least intimidating gangster of all time (until he starts shooting everyone)
