  I no longer can make excuses for such films or try to like them. I simply don't. The film is supposedly a depiction of sexual trauma and how pornography in a patriarchal society can be so disgusting and harmful for women yet the plot didn't serve what I was expecting at all but rather a jerking off material for weirdos who enjoy seeing women suffer.
  ( the website where I watched this had a comment from a username called "necrophiliac rapist" which just proves my point)
  anyways I hate porn.

  Everything in this film was just too good.
  Within the first 15 mins or so I knew for sure this is going to be a banger and it certainly didn't fail me.
  Every shot is literally crafted to perfection. I loved everything about it; the cinematography, the plot, the soundtracks and the beautiful Ryō. Simply everything.
  I am falling in love with Shinya Tsukamoto creativity with every film I watch. Istg this man gets it.

  I am honestly starting to hate this "trend" of modern films that have impressive cinematography but shallow storytelling. The visual experience is an important aspect indeed but it gets on my nerves when it's the only good thing about a film.
  It has become a way of distracting the viewers from the low-effort plot.

  Longlegs was just scratching the surface with its story. There is no depth which is dumb tbh when you are dealing with heavy subjects such as cults.
  The "satanic" atmosphere was such a cliché in the worst way possible. I HATED IT.
