  Pretty sure this was my first Tarantino. Doesn’t hold up as well as I remember. The last half an hour feels so unnecessary. First hour was incredible though. As soon as Walz departs the whole thing falls apart.

  This is still a movie that will be remembered for a very long time. It had some of my favorite Tarantino performances. Jamie Foxx is my favorite out of all his leads in any film (minus the pulp fiction ensemble but that doesn’t really count).

  If a sequel could be released to any film ever, this would be up there as one of my personal top choices.

  Megalopolis is what happens when you spend 40 years working on the same project. It’s an oversaturated mess that’s the result of decades of development. Persona if it was way more confusing and terrible.

  How was it that during the entire filming process not a single person asked Francis Ford Coppola what the fuck he was doing? For something worked on by so many people and of such a high budget, you would’ve thought for sure that someone would’ve pulled him aside and given him a reality check.

  Adam Driver did the best he could.
