Heartwarming? I think I liked this movie I went from being really sad to thinking it was kind of funny. Somehow this movie pulls off the tonal shifts. The ending was especially nice.

Videodrome 1983
Fascinating movie about the nature of objective vs perceived reality. I think the portrayal of hallucinations was similar to my own experiences with schizophrenia. In a broader sense I think the movie is about trans humanism and comments about the fusion between man and machine. Interesting stuff.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2004
What a beautiful, gutwrenching tale about falling out of love and the messy nature of unknowing someone. This move is haunting, and I find it echoes a lot of my own personal fears in the way that Kaufmans films have a way of doing. The reconciliation at the end where they accept that it’s okay if things end made me cry. Overall an amazing film.
