An ok, but forgettable and by the numbers comedy flick.
The chemistry between selleck and damson was really good, and you can feel the brotherhood and friendship between the men, however, Gutenberg feels like the weak link here, and doesn’t feel as memorable or have a strong connection to the others.

I thought the choice of music was really inspired, and felt as wacky and weird as the film it was tied to, it meshed really well with the film and enhanced it.

A good movie makes you feel something, whether it be sadness, happiness, anger, fear, love, disgust, this film does none of that, the only thing you feel when it comes to this film, is a profound boredom, and the feeling that you’ve just wasted an hour and a half of your life. A quirky, fun little film that takes a look at a cast of lovable eccentrics, and the eccentric but endearing family that they form by the end of the film. The tone of the film is spot on here, as it has the quirky, deadpan nonchalant feeling that Wes Anderson films have, but doesn’t overdo it.
