Tropical Malady 2004
Incredible film. The directing and cinematography are effortlessly stunning, and the soundtrack was so great it ended up playlist. The dialogue and respect for social norms exhibited by the prospective lovers in the first section stands in sharp contrast to the wordless, primal emotion and pursuit of the second half. The parallels between the two halves of the movie are seamless and work together to form an intricate, and powerful, tapestry.
