  EDIT- Revisionist history — I’m still thinking about this and I love it. What an incredible true story. Warning this was more a movie about Cuba and the strength of Cuban people the aids.

  somehow simultaneously life affirming and soul crushing. a perfectly written story about a dying man’s search for meaning during the last 6 months of his life. this movie is an inspiration if the viewer can manage to remember it’s message during the daily “minutia of the bureaucratic machine” which serves only to stave off the inevitable.
