  Saw this in the biggest screen in the cinema and it was basically just me and like 3 other people. It was amazing.
  The animation was nuts, so many mind-blowing scenes. The story was really cool. I loved all the different fantasy factions butting against each other and the emotional core of Ne Zha and Ao Bing trying to save their bodies and their families tied it all together.

  Do not forsake Father Martin.

  This felt like when you've got a really good group where everyone's sparking off each other during an improvised tabletop RPG and the story goes off the rails every two seconds.

  It's absolutely hilarious, so many excellent characters. Cowboy lorry driver is immense. Analogue sound effects were class. Love love love, can't wait to rewatch. Gotta check out more Mitani.

  This film absolutely walloped my mind. Beautiful, entrancing, an audio-visual delicacy. I'm not smart enough on Japanese context to understand this fully, so I'll have to revisit this some time after doing some reading, but as a piece of cinema it bangs outrageously hard.
