  DW Griffith is an evil piece of shit. Him making this movie caused thousands upon thousands of deaths and lives shattered. Glad he's dead.

  This movie feels like a prank. It's a Christian movie about fighting the patriarchy, helping the poor and unhoused, and there's even strong ACAB themes. I mean it's so very pro immigrant it even said in the movie "this country was built on the bones of immigrants." They don't shy away from very explicitly saying the country is racist and bigotry is rampant.

  In the wildest scene an orphan shoots a pimp and the nun takes the gun... But GIVES…
