Lots of common tropes of the horror genre in this one, certainly elevated by Eggers' signature style and impeccable performances (Lily-Rose Depp is a dominant force).

A very exciting debut by Dev Patel, showing some creative camera angles, blurred action and buckets of style, obviously influenced by the likes of "John Wick" and "Oldboy". Very conflicting thoughts about this one. A nauseating and grueling experience, “The Zone of Interest” invites you to contemplate on the normalization of human evil. Centering on a Nazi family living their best idyllic lives in occupied Poland, - their beautiful and well maintained garden separated by the horrors of Auschwitz concentration camp only by imposing gray walls with barbed wires – the movie does not care about fleshing out these characters and their relations that much, and does not…

With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, this wacky group of space defenders solidifies itself as the most consistent franchise within the MCU, together with the Captain America trilogy. James Gunn, despite the regular tampering of the Marvel machine, established and sustained a very well put together narrative, with interesting and likable characters with great story arcs and, most importantly, managed to keep a cohesive spirit throughout the whole endeavor, never losing its sprightly intergalactic adventure's essence and its acidic,…
