    The ingredients are grade A, but the recipe is lacking something. Like I think it's funny, but I never connected with it in any deeper emotional way. It out classes more than most of the Shane Black/ Tarantino Crass Action Comedies horde.

    The weakest of Martin McDonagh's film ouevre. I prefer it when he is in his stage play mode.

    Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken are killing it in two completely different ways.

    Mean spirited and shallow. The story felt like it was written by a edgy 13 year old boy, who thought he was smarter and more mature than anyone in the school. Probably wrote this in his school notebook just to worry his teacher and get his parents called into school for a conference. Hoping that someone would finally pay attention to him.
    There are nuanced ways to discuss trauma, revenge and the neverending cycle of violence. This isn't one.

    Rough watching this in 2025 when the series is supposed to be referencing the take over of Germany by the Nazis, but sure seems similar to the rise of the Maga movement in modern day America.
