Wowowow this is a great example of making a super disturbing film without having to show anything really graphic/gory. Really effective and messed up but also tells a great story.
For me I think it’s making an interesting commentary in regard to the obsession of “armchair detectives” and the cult of true crime fanatics. I wish some of the ideas were explored a bit more in the film but also I like that the viewer can come to their own…

I absolutely hate it when people make a movie about a real life victim who doesn’t want it made. That poor young girl and her family just wanna move on but they still went and made this film. Similar thought I had with The Stranger when I found out the victims family didn’t want the film made. Why dredge up all of these families trauma just to try and win some awards?
