MICKEY 17 POR FAVOR
NASHA TE AMO AHHHH
Bong Joon Ho my sweet king you have done it again. Very fun watch from start to finish. Great blend of absurdism, body horror, and good ol wackiness.
Robert Pattinson was my favorite part. He plays both Mickeys in such distinct and compelling ways. Identity and personality are such unique constructs that no two Mickeys can really be the same and Pattinson shows that perfectly. Your memories may be the same, but…
Drip too hard don’t stand too close
I love the earlier Bond films because they had the hardest fits. Sean Connery was probably the flyest Bond and this film was him near his flyest. On top of the iconic dinner suit, the navy and dark grey flannel suits Connery wears are still some of the nicest I’ve ever seen. The commitment to the fits was so serious that, on the run and out of nowhere, Bond uses his aura to…
Bond, James Bond
I’ve decided to watch all the Bond films again. Why? Boredom, fitspo, and nostalgia.
My love for the Bond films conflicts me. Bond really is His/Her Majesty’s top shotta and this film is not shy about it. Dr. No was shot in Jamaica the year before Jamaica won their independence. Colonialism aside (??) I’m just grateful that Fleming decided on Dr. No and the fictional SPECTRE being the main villain(s) of the franchise instead of the Eastern…
Looking like a thick Praying Mantis
I love Keke Palmer, SZA, and Issa Rae so I was looking forward to watching this one, and it did not disappoint. Incredibly fun from start to finish, wholesome at times, and over the top in the best way possible.
Side characters were really great too. Kat Williams as Lucky, Aziza Scott (as far as I can tell her movie debut!), and Dewayne Perkins were all very funny.
I would pay 1900.5% APR on a movie ticket to watch it again. Tell Klarna I’m right here.
