  Pro tip from Scorsese (me): Put a continuous base line in the background for like 30 min so that the audience forgets that things are moving forward quite slowly!

  It’s a long movie because it’s meant as an intricate story, that’s why it works. Liked the setting, the costumes, the scenes were beautiful and characters quite enjoyable. Not many Scorsese movies I’d be inclined to watch again, but I guess this one is one of them!

  Let’s break this into the math problem of today. 

  We know from beforehand:

  Alien³

  Let's say Alien 2 = 0. Solving for Alien gets you:
  Alien = -2

  So now we know what Alien equals. Then we apply this to our second equation. Thus:

  Alien³ = (-2)³
  The answer for that being -8.

  Basically a fair assessment of how good this movie is. Especially in comparison to the first two.
