Alien: Romulus 2024
The production design was my favorite aspect of this film. It felt really dialed in and played a large part in the very well paced world building spread across through the first two acts. Throughout the film the environments kept leveling up and presenting new things along the way. I could say the same thing about the creature design as well.
It’s a simple story on paper, and plays like a linear rollercoaster… climbs, drops, some spins, turns, and jolts…
