I noticed on a rewatch just how repetitive some of the emotional and story beats are in this, which is what really holds it back from being an excellent film for all ages. When the dust settles, it's still an outstanding children's film though.

It takes a special kind of love to turn something as fundamentally uncinematic as watching blocks fall at various speeds for hours into a stunning essay on the strength of human will and community to absolutely decimate any barrier placed before us.
