  Feels like it would completely be my thing but its most interesting aspects are quite short lived. Still fun at times but not even very chessy.

  A pretty meh but fun enough time with Sophie Thatcher as it’s saving grace. The writer/director is the same as Fred 3: Camp Fred, so the fact it ends up as a more netflixified black mirror than Netflix’s black mirror isn’t surprising. 

  It is a bit cak to craft your feminist tale around the hot pot sex bot. Is it meant to be a morality test? Do we really root for the robot? The twists and turns are all kinds of askew.

  Half playlist, half interviews

  It’s interesting that no one says “shoegaze” in the entire doc because really it was a new wave of British psychedelia that had such a brilliant sense for melody and sonic exploration 

  It is one of those docs that is all filmed on cheap digital cameras across the early 2000s, people like Robert Smith, Trent Reznor and Kevin Shields, good vibe.
