  A PASSAGE TO INDIA II: ATTACK OF THE SPICE

  Comedies like this depend heavily on whether you are in and enjoy the humor or not, and sadly I wasn’t big on it. Now, that’s not to say I hate it. There’s an undeniable charm and great chemistry between our lead with some solid script and dialogue that makes for some pretty amusing moments. There’s a silliness to it but low-key for the most part—the barking dude being the exception—which is well-balanced with a solid plot that’s entertaining enough to make you watch until the end, but not as engaging as I was hoping for.

  This movie is comedy gold. I mean, wow!
  I laughed and laughed and laughed.
  I loved that the jokes are actually funny without being offensive or vulgar or misogynistic. That's how you do comedy.

  Gulzar saab the 🐐
  Such a great timeless comedy film based on Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors with great performances by Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma. I hope this remains as the only adaptation of the play in Hindi cinema, I hope no filmmaker especially with the last name Shetty adapts this play in future.........
