I really hope this lokesh kanagaraj guy makes it big someday
The anthology doesn’t deliver anything extraordinary, but has enough wackiness to keep you interested and entertained. A fun watch.
- first one’s twist is seen from the start
- second one is pretty fun despite being in that fuckall space
- third one has golden boy of tamil cinema, lokesh kanagaraj himself as writer and director. it’s ok but it has a trademark scene with the harivarasanam song playing in an action scene
- fourth one is just a sad try hard
- fifth one has alphonse puthren directing bobby simha and nivin pauly. it’s fun and i love how cheeky it is
Kind of fun that Karthik Subbaraj was the one who introduced Lokesh Kanagaraj to Tamil Cinema.
watched loki's short and skipped the others
he never disappoints.
Out of syllabus lam prepare panirken.. paathu panunga loki annaya
Started from the bottom now we here.
Waiting for Gold.
"A lip-smacking mix of shorts"
Watched "Kalam" and re-watched "Eli" after a long time.
Lokesh's "Kalam" is a well-made, decent short film with some twists and turns. High-speed shots, an action scene with an irrelevant song, lorry, and Kaapunu Lokiyoda trademarks are well infused in this debut short.
Alphonse's "Eli" is a wacky, Tarantino-esque short film with neatly packed quirks. Bobby and Nivin are delightful.
Lokesh Kanagaraj and Alphonse Puthren's Short films only.
Seen only Lokesh and Alphonse Shorts Both are decent and well made especially the payoff for Alphonse Short Film 😂💥
It is an amateurish anthology. Having its flaws it works really well. Lokesh executing a fight in harivarasanam and Alphonse puthren's myth mixed funny story. First one was pretty funny. 3rd was a mix of comedy drama and bit of horror but felt like too long. Decent Stuff
A bit amateur anthology overall but could notice the glimpses of talents clearly.Loki's and Alphonse' shorts were so good, other two shorts were just ok.
