It's okay to bite people if they call you stupid.
Follows Sang-eun, an intellectually challenged 20 year old, who romanticizes a fairy tale lifestyle in which she'll meet her Prince Charming.
Turbulent, tear-jerking rollercoaster of happy/sad moments that stem from abrupt shifts in the circumstances of the situations; when mother and daughter are both volatile in their own ways, we never know what to expect.
The characters were so sweet and their motivations never wavered too far from their personalities. Kang's portrayal of a child trapped in an adult's body completely sold me; from subtle gestures to overenthusiastic dialogue; I never saw the actress past her character.
One of those films where I could have easily watched them interact for much longer, but we all have to say goodbye sometime. Loved the fairy tale elements that would pop up whenever Sang-eun needed help processing a situation. Recommended if you're up for a bit of a crying game.
Kang Hye-jung has changed her face for this movie so much that she looks like a totally different person. I don't know how she did that but it makes me admire her even more.
*Mom gets diagnosed with an illness*
Me with a box of tissues:oh shit here we go again...
A little bit cliche, but it’s good to watch with younger people and family❤️
It wasn’t like this in my dream.

"Do you know why I'm so full of energy, even after a hard day? Because of your shoes. You don't know how happy it makes me when I put my shoes next to yours when I get home "
her mother is a very good person, she is also the one who made Sang-Eun a cheerful and pleasant child.
every parent wants the best for their child..
A grown ass man,and you cry for this.
A happy-go-lucky affair initially, with a highlight in Young-yoo's performance throughout. It has some serious undertones but I felt the film was a bit too comical in nature to let most of those moments work properly. I didn't think it would get me but there are definitely moments that could turn your smile around for a second.
Chun Woo-hee actually has her own name on her uniform and plays some punk ass bitch which was weird to see. Hye-jung portrayed as different fairy-tale characters was oddly satisfying however. Lovely epilogue at the end as well.

The beast has a long waist like a lizard in a way."
"I want to raise a lizard at home."
"He has a bad breath like kimchi."
"I can't eat anything without kimchi."
"Which one will you save if he and I are drowning? it would be me, right?"
"You can swim anyway."
- lol xD this conversation is too funny!
Kang Hye Jung was amazing here! She owned this movie. That gobbling up scene was my favorite.
