  This documentary about monogamy and alternatives to monogamy has been on my radar for a while, because I've been poly-curious for a while.

  Recently, I've become involved with someone special who is polyamorous and has an existing relationship structure. I'm coming into that as a neophyte, and finding I'm very happy in this configuration. It helps that my new companion is tender, patient, communicative and understanding — qualities that seem essential to any relationship, but especially to complex and multi-pronged ones. Without those qualities, it wouldn't be easy to navigate the challenges that pop up sometimes.

  I'd hoped this doc would be about poly relationships a little more. It's more of a synopsis of the state of monogamy and marriage…
