  It is just another routine templated action comedy masala flick. Ram Charan ticks off his dual role norm as a commercial actor. Though it is predictable and you pretty much know what’s in store, the screenplay is decently entertaining with serviceable heroism, comedy and songs. Suspend your disbelief and have some dumb masala fun.

  Comedy track lekapothe this rewatch completely sucks. Bearable coz of biggies like M.S Narayana, Brahmanandam, Jaya Prakash, Posani, etc.

  Those shitty 18+ jokes flew right past my head in the previous watches and Kajal's love track was dumb af. Only the costumes they wore were good lol. Music wise few hit remaining sound weird. Thaman anna ki ivvani common ey le.

  Watch this when you're multitasking and don't want to put your brain to work or probably wanna switch it off altogether.

  Needed something to watch while doing homework; something campy essentially with low attention span. One of the regular commercial films to release all time in TFI history fs, just with really good colour-grading and chartbuster music by Thaman. Rly nice meme-templated humor by the OG comedians, just screams 2012 all around. If anyone wants to know how the typical routinely-regular fine templated commercial entertainer works in TFI, especially one with the double-role concept, this easily tops that list. Try watching this outside of Youtube as the copyright censoring kinda screws up the flow. Also, if you just watched RRR and you're expecting some sort of masterclass performance from Ram Charan, this might not be the film for you. That being…

  Five stars for sound design (fritolay bone crunches with every punch) and wardrobe (why button a button that doesn’t need to be buttoned). Minus three stars for a plot that felt about an hour too long. Plus one star for “The murder is cancelled.” Minus a half star for that weird sound in “Kathi Lanti Pilla.” I liked the rest of the music though. Not great but a decently fun watch.

  the only thing you really need to know about this film is that it's 2h40m of ram charan being excessively hot, and the film evidently luxuriates in this fact. there are very many shots here of him showing off his glorious physique in shirts with the top three buttons undone and rolled up sleeves that accentuate his biceps. despite almost being a decade old, his look here amazingly holds up, and it is truly unfair to most everyone on earth that whatever deity is in charge of our universe saw this man in this film and thought yeah, but he can still be hotter.

  I was in the mood for some brainless Telugu bullshit today, and this is very much that.

  Makes much better use of Young!Ram Charan than the other dual role I've seen from him (Yevadu), leaning heavy on his top-shelf dancing and fighting chops and only asking him for the kind of acting he knows how to do (mostly charming romcom hijinx and cocky action hero schtick). His chemistry with Kajal Agarwal remains stellar, and his chemistry with Amala Paul isn't much worse

  It flags a little in the third quarter, both due to some weaker plotting generally and due to asking people who aren't Brahmanandam to shoulder the comic relief, but it recovers in time for a suitably cheesy, physics-hating conclusion.

  By no means a lifechanger, but a pretty endearing example of the Telugu masala formula.

  its solid! the telugu comedy squad is all there (like All Of Them) and arent funny as usual but theyre also not as irritating as they can be. cherry is cute and charming and siddarth is intense and hot its great. i think this is in the lower range of ram charans performances because he plays two different guys but theyre too similar to each other. just to compare, when i watch jai lava kusa all three of them feel like completely different people, to the extent that i forget theyre all played by tarak. but here, it was more like "oh look charan 1 is saving charan 2". ram charan can do much better but honestly i dont mind…

  This really got good in the second half. 🔥 Songs are fire and that leather jacket with the zipper slider fringe just 👌.

  Poor Rajeev Kanakala. He's like the Sean Bean of Tollywood. Let the man live. Give him meatier roles!

  Watched this right after getting my eyelashes permed and dyed, and ugh, Ram Charan makes me so mad. Next time I'm getting extensions too. It's just not fair.
