STARRING: ALIA BHATT😍 (FEMALE 4FRONT)
Cool poster but nowhere near as badass as Bhatt in this film, where she gets back into dramatic mode, but you see, now it’s different because she’s a spy. And a kind of good one at that… maybe… maybe not… 😉
Anyways, she’s great. There are a few cool spy stuff moments but for the most part she plays the role as an everywoman who also happens to be trained to kick some major ass. But what makes her stand out and the reason she shines again is mostly the way she conveys and delivers all the emotions she’s dealing with at the moment. That ending scene and the way it's edited and shot, plus…

Gatekeep, gaslight, vehicular manslaughter, girlboss
if i had a husband like iqbal who opened doors for me and gave me my space and caressed my cheek the way that he does so affectionately and was a true feminist (i know it ok he told me so!) my patriotism would leave my body RIGHT AWAY. vicky kaushal you will always be IT for me!
the minute i get to know im marrying vicky kaushal it's over for india
he really died trying to save her but it wasn’t even her.........
All the patriotism would’ve left my body the moment he put those payals on my feet
Here for Alia Bhatt.

After a basic initial 30 minutes, the drama gets quite engaging with neatly executed suspenseful tension and thrills. It does have a convenient narrative with few cliches, but also comes across as a huge relief that it does away from the typical exaggerated jingoistic dialogues. Alia Bhatt delivers a compelling performance. The entire set of supporting charecters gets aptly casted and they perfectly complement the dramatics. A well made spy thriller that ends up a solid watch.
