The White Lotus, but the vacation's shitty
What starts out as an interesting whodunit crime mystery about Emily trying to solve the murder of her older sister slowly fades into nothingness with every episode. It becomes a stretched out repetitive drama about getting to know these characters but the mystery fades. Nothing really happens in both timelines, it's so dull and forgettable. By the time the mystery is resolved in the last episode I just didn't care about it anymore and it wasn't the most exciting or clever resolution. Very disappointed. The acting is average (excluding West Duchovny and Jayden Elijah who did good). The location is set in the Caribbean but they managed to somehow make it look common.…
i’m a simple girl, i’ll watch anything alycia debnam- carey is in

By no means a masterpiece, but I shed a tear in the final scene.
The reveal of Allison’s death was underwhelming, but I appreciate the purpose of it being so.
To paraphrase Allison herself: she’s not the main character.
This show preys on your expectations, and subverts them, delivering a love story between two unexpected characters and not the murder mystery of a rich girl on vacation it promised at all.
Acted well, written not the best. The pacing was very slow in the middle. Would have made a better film.
Stopped this after episode 3, could not get into the story at all, I was hoping for a second "White Lotus" but was disappointed.
This is the absolute worst season of The White Lotus.
only watched for alycia debnam carey and she did not disappoint but the story was boring
Maybe a 90-minute movie’s worth of murder mystery stretched into over 6 hours (8 with ads, I don’t think I would have made it)

sobbing thinking about how claire is never going to know that alison finally felt alive in her final moments and will never be able to see her again along with the fact that edwin was in love with gogo his entire life and the night they finally confessed their love the girl went missing, they got blamed by everyone for everything, and didn’t see each other for 20 years until gogo moved back to the island and edwin was on his death bed dying from sickness.
right people wrong wrong time. i’m crying so hard every character deserves better. alison you are an angel you beautiful girl
Strong start. Rocky finish.

This was so unnecessarily long and dragged on for nothing. The reveal was less than exciting 'cause it really comes down to "woe is me, I'm a white girl who isn't the most desired/popular person at this resort; I'll show 'em"
And then the present timeline is just running in circles and then realizing they repressed trauma.
“We have Moonlight at home!”
The Moonlight at home:
Genuinely awful
Both sisters are irritating as SHIT and I feel no connection to or interest in their stories
Esp the younger sister as an adult. She’s fucking insufferable and also a bad actress
