i, too, have hundreds of framed photos of aishwarya rai in my cottage
I watched this film for the plot
The plot : A.R. Rahman/Anand Bakshi
the real AK vs AK
if you choose akshaye khanna over anil kapoor...then you a lil bitch.
gave it about 30mins and then ff'd through everything but the songs (which are amazing ugh) and a few anil scenes, i'm counting it as watched anyway bc it's my page and i can do what i want!! like ok sweetie you just go home and be a pure innocent servant to your ugly stalker husband, there are plenty of sane women who would happily take your superstar millionaire career and anil too, step aside, nobody cares
manav die challenge
Would have given 4 stars but she ended with the wrong AK. Heroes of this film are undoubtedly Aish, Rehman and Coca Cola
all due respect written and directed by Anand Bakshi/A R Rahman. still feels fresh. Aish in white dress during Ramta Jogi is peak cinema.
Whenever I rewatch this I worry I won't like it as much. It's just such a cheesy romance that I really don't expect to like it this much. But ultimately, what always seems to draw me in and make me forgive all its cheesiness is how beautifully cinematic it is. How they do the close ups, how they do the big & multi-layered group scenes, how much they manage to do without any dialogue, how they use some dialogue completely off screen, how they use & shoot the dance sequences... Seriously, there are so few films that use the language of cinema this beautifully. Horribly cheesy it may be and it may have one of the most generic Bollywood romance stories ever,…
that glass bottle coca cola ad had a lot of dance breaks
ar rahman supremacy, carries every movie he does the music for
as with all aishwarya movies, i have to watch it twice, once to be mesmerized by her and second to actually watch the movie
