There's nothing better that going into a movie completely blind, knowing nothing about the plot or the opinions of others about it, and discovering something amazing.
This Irish thriller stars John Bradley (Sam from Game Of Thrones) as Vernon Styles, an unemployed tech guy who develops the concept of Trading - an arrangement between two strangers to fight to the death so that the winner can inherit the monetary wealth of the loser. His work acquaintance Harry (Killian Scott) becomes the first successful Trader, from which point things escalate and complicate as the stakes rapidly increase.
Barry Keoghan (the evil kid from Killing Of A Sacred Dear) also features as one of the Traders.
The start is a bit slow, but once things kick into gear it becomes a brutal and compelling thrill ride, blurring the boundaries between right and wrong and gripping the viewer as tightly as the hold of a Trader on another's throat.

Like the endorphins kicking in when you punched in the face: it's a little raw but you can't say you don't enjoy it.
Nice little Irish fight flick with a good starting point, a strong cast and a young Barry Keoghan already showing promise.

The low budget, high concept Traders manages to simultaneously be a sharp satire and a supremely daft thriller. It's a surprisingly watchable blend.
This film is queer coded (I get wet each time there’s Barry Keoghan on the screen). I need an alternatе cut where he gets all the money for being so hot.
