Big dreams, big blunts, big rims, and big guns. It's time to get gangsta gangsta. Ninja and Yo Landi are wheelchair-bound lovers and real gangstas. They live in the outskirts of civilization, they shoot guns for fun, smoke massive joints, and sleep in the woods. They don't have any bling to show for their gangsta cred, but the world deserves to know who they are. They're tramps, and their wheels are starting to fall off. Ninja become despondent over their vagabond existence, but Yo Landi won't let him give up. What ensues is straight up gangsta mayhem, the realist of the real, true gangsta shit.

If I told you that my personal subconscious most closely resembles two South African rappers rolling around in neon lit, balloon decorated wheelchairs while wearing footie pajamas firing machine pistols into the air, you'd probably think I was lying.

But the simple fact of the matter is that I'm 100% positive I've had a daydream like this before.

Calling this short film by Harmony Korine "art" would be a bit of a stretch. Its more like metaphysical nonsense. But I happened to like it. There is something perplexingly humorous and oddly touching about seeing a little friendship between murderous, south african hobos with holographic images of aliens and weed on their wheelchairs.

Harmony Korine and Die Antwoord is a collaboration made in heaven. Die Antwoord is the equivalent of Harmony Korine in music, they're both unique, one of a kind (even if you're dont like neither of them), they're both rougues who don't care about anyone's opinion, they're socially relevant. Bring Me My Machine Gun is a strange short, just like any Korine's work it's surreal and deviant, but there's something beautiful, touching and poetic about it, I can't really put my finger on why, but I don't think it's important, what's important is that Korine and Yo-Landi made me feel things.
