I watched this movie after reading the news about extermination camps in Jalisco, Mexico. I was the only one crying at the theater. I needed a movie that actually portrayed the ever lasting trauma of oppression in Latin America.
To think that there’s people to this day suggesting the military dictatorships weren’t dictatorships, that the suffering of the victims, the disappearances, the grieving isn’t real, it’s sickening and enraging to the bone.
We shall never forget the crimes of operation…
