It’s VERY funny for multiple reasons that Warren Beatty turned down playing Nixon cuz he thought the script didn’t treat him “compassionately”
Anyway, thank goodness because Langella’s performance is really the redeeming quality of this otherwise paint by numbers, zealously neoliberal telling of a story that’s far more compelling on its own than portrayed here.
