  I started watching this about 6 times before actually making it through the whole thing. No budget fare sometimes doesn't hook me and this one sure didn't. You can see some effort in the filmmaking but I just didn't enjoy the movie.

  That was absolutely amazing.

  This is the return of the original meaning of Godzilla. He is a force of nature. He is not your friend. He is not your ally. He is a violent destroyer of everything around him.

  However, it is the human story that makes this the great film that it is. The real raw emotions convey the human fight for survival and the power of reclaiming control of their lives while facing this unstoppable monster.
